Sales Development Representative (remote)


About Us

We are focused on bringing meaningful disruptive solutions to the Transportation and Logistics space transforming the way they work.  Our first commercial product is LYNKS TMS which was designed from the beginning to be a Full Featured SaaS/Mobile TMS.  Unlike the traditional TMS providers we are starting with the small/independent carriers, shippers, brokers and 3PLs then scaling.   We are creating a digital ecosystem not just a TMS, this way the end user does not need to leave LYNKS to conduct parts of their business.

What you'll do when you get here:

  • Prospect with a "hunter" mentality via phone, internet, fieldwork, referrals, and industry networking
  • Independently identify and generate new sales opportunities
  • Contact and conduct initial discovery with customers via phone and email
  • Facilitate face-to-face meetings, present proposals and solutions, close business on the phone, zoom or in person (if/when the environment allows)
  • Manage individual sales funnel information regarding all prospective customers in HubSpot
  • Sell LYNKS TMS and the additional services we provide like but limited to Health and Wellness programs
  • Review weekly/monthly sales activities and prospective customers with Management
  • Engaging in self-development & training opportunities, both internal & external
  • Reports to Director of Operations

What you need to have:

  • 5 + years minimum sales experience, with a focus on SaaS solutions
  • Ability to travel (as conditions warrant)
  • High school degree or GED equivalent

What is preferred:

  • Experience in a sales development role or a high outbound selling role focused at the executive level
  • Understanding of technologies that service the trucking industry and their respective verticals (Motor Carriers, Brokers, Shippers and 3PLs)
  • Tech savvy and experienced in a consultative approach with customers
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent customer service and follow up with customers and the network
  • Growth mindset, with a focus on customers
  • Critical-thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs
